Video Monitoring During Operations being piloted in all 24 operating rooms of Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where nearly 20,000 operations were performed in 2013. The system will provide real-time feedback in the ORs in an effort to enhance patient safety. Reportedly, the New York hospital and another hospital in the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System are the only facilities in the country using remote video auditing. The program was designed by North American Partners, an anesthesiology provider based in Melville, NY, and Arrowsight, a Mount Kisco, NY, company that supplies video monitoring equipment.
