After launching a bold brand platform built around inspiration and community well-being, ThedaCare faced a new opportunity: reconnecting patients with primary care.

A Brand Built Around Inspiration

The effort began with an internal campaign called Inspiration Starts Here.

We invited team members to share the inspiration behind their work and connect that purpose to the organization’s mission of improving community health,” explains Allie Sonsthagen, senior vice president of Brand, Marketing and Communications at ThedaCare. “It helped unify our team around a shared purpose before we brought the message to the broader community.”

The external brand campaign followed, introducing the inspiration concept to the public through stories of team members and caregivers who shape the health of communities across northeast and central Wisconsin.

As the brand gained traction, the Brand, Marketing and Communications team seized the opportunity to extend the platform to a core service line: primary care.
