Movember Foundation and Swrve Team Up to Enhance Mobile App Experience

Movember Foundation logoMany people in the healthcare world and beyond are familiar with the Movember Foundation. In fact, many of our readers may be sporting their supportive facial hair this month.

This year, Movember has added a new experience to its annual fundraising push — a revamped mobile app. The app, which Movember developed in partnership with marketing platform Swrve, will provide an “enhanced user experience” that helps boost fundraising for the foundation.

“Innovation has always been important at the Movember Foundation, and integration of new digital experiences to raise vital funds and awareness continues to be our goal,” says Meaghan Bilinski, director of digital marketing and automation at Movember.

Founded in 2003, the Movember Foundation’s mission is to “change the face of men’s health.” Movember participants spend the month of November growing mustaches to raise awareness and money for men’s health issues. Through their fundraising, Movember finances programs that support research and treatment for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, suicide prevention, and mental health services.

For the new app, Movember partnered with Swrve, a mobile marketing automation platform. Swrve provides customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as email, analytics, and in-app messaging to give organizations the power to better engage with their users or customers.

“We aim to help raise vital funds and awareness to ensure men live happier, healthier, longer lives, and a key way to do that is through the mobile app,” says Bilinski. “This is an important reason why we’ve partnered with Swrve, the world’s leading customer engagement platform.”
