Healthcare marketers are under increasing pressure to deliver personalized experiences, orchestrate complex campaigns, and prove measurable impact, all while navigating fragmented systems and manual processes that slow teams down. AI agents offer a new way forward, acting as autonomous, context-aware digital assistants that can streamline workflows, connect data across platforms, and handle repeatable tasks with speed and precision. But while the potential is enormous, the real challenge lies in determining where AI agents can drive meaningful value today, what requires foundational work, and how teams can prepare for a future where humans and agents collaborate side by side.
This discussion brings together leaders who are actively exploring the next evolution of workflow optimization, both inside and outside healthcare. They’ll examine what’s possible now, what’s emerging, and what health systems can learn from other industries that are moving faster with agentic AI.
Join us to learn how healthcare marketers are:
- Identifying high-value workflows that are ready for AI agents today, and where manual oversight is still essential
- Reducing operational friction by using agents to automate tasks like appointment scheduling, care coordination, data pulls, list creation, campaign setup, segmentation, and reporting
- Connecting cloud data, MarTech, and enterprise systems so agents can act on unified, governed information
- Designing guardrails, governance models, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints that keep outputs safe, accurate, and on-brand
- Learning from agent use cases in other industries, and translating those practices responsibly into healthcare
- Preparing teams for a new operating model where AI agents augment capacity, accelerate execution, and free humans for higher-value work
- Balancing near-term efficiency gains with long-term opportunities to reimagine end-to-end marketing workflows

Victor Reiss
Chief Consumer Officer
UNC Health
As Chief Consumer Officer at UNC Health, Victor Reiss leads the system strategy for consumer insights, growth marketing, brand, community engagement, and communications. His work is guided by a core belief: the future of healthcare will be defined by how we honor people’s time. Every moment returned to patients, families, and communities is an opportunity for healing, connection, and living more fully.
Victor brings a thought-leader’s lens to the evolving role of consumers in healthcare—asking not only how people access care, but why their experiences succeed or fall short. He envisions a health system where friction is designed out, where consumer insights guide every decision, and where trust is earned through seamless, intuitive interactions.
Prior to this role, Victor served as System Vice President of Growth Marketing and Consumer Insights at UNC Health. He also held leadership roles at Cancer Treatment Centers of America and spent more than a decade at FedEx, experiences that shaped his ability to blend human-centered insights with global-scale strategy.
Victor is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the board of the UNC Health Physicians Network. He earned his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and his undergraduate degree from Butler University
