How AdventHealth Personalizes the Digital Experience Without Compromising Privacy
Navigate to the AdventHealth website for the first time and you’ll likely find images and content that apply to any healthcare consumer. But the moment you click on a specific service line or blog, that experience starts to change.

Carolina Anthony, executive director of digital marketing, AdventHealth
When a web visitor from Denver accesses AdventHealth.com and clicks a pediatrics blog post, for example, and then navigates away from the site, their choices are tracked. The next time that visitor comes to AdventHealth, they’re greeted by a pediatrics hero image. If it’s winter, there might be snow in the image. A visitor in Orlando who previously visited the same pediatric blog will see a hero image featuring kids near palm trees.
Altogether, the AdventHealth team has created a broad library of localized, behavior-informed web experiences with multiple images and personalized content journeys for repeat visitors. This helps them personalize a national website, making it feel local to the communities they serve.
“We personalize around anonymous behavioral signals and consumer intent, not personal identity,” says Carolina Anthony, executive director of digital marketing at AdventHealth. “Our goal is to make the web experience more relevant while respecting privacy.”
